Starfield is an upcoming ARPG created by Bethesda. Originally announced in 2018, this open world, space-exploration game features a combination of both fictional and non-fictional planetary systems. Over 1000 planets will be explorable with each planet’s terrain and landscape featuring unique aspects such as alien flora and fauna. Starfield is set to be released on 6th September 2023.  Learn More about Starfield on the official website.

The Starfield requirements have been released and we now have an idea of how the game will run on current hardware. See our recommendations below to get your Starfield journey up and running. Whether you’re looking to hit the minimum system requirements or you’re aiming to push the game to it’s limit, we will have the Gaming PC for you.

Low Settings:

Starfield’s minimum requirements are quite reasonable and will open the game up to a lot PC players, all be it with a sacrifice to FPS and resolution settings. If you are in the market for a new PC and you’re happy to go with Starfield’s lower settings, you will need a minimum of 125GB free space and one of our RTX 3060 Gaming PCs.

Medium Settings:

Starfield’s recommended requirements don’t take a massive jump from their minimum ones. Given the vastness of the game (or at least how vast it is being presented to us) this is quite surprising. In terms of modern hardware, we would still suggest looking at the mid-range 40 series cards. Starfield is all about world exploration so you will want to capitalise on Ray Tracing availability for added immersion.

Ultra 4K Settings:

It’s a good job you can explore space in this game because these specs will power a spaceship (no not literally, no outer-space exploration possible in a Stormforce PC…yet).

You’re pushing the game to it’s max to achieve Ultra 4k settings so you will want the latest hardware available. We recommend our 4090 PCs.
