We have been made aware of an issue with the latest NVIDIA driver that is affecting performance on some gaming laptops globally including some of our Stormforce laptops.  

If you’ve already updated

to the most recent version, we recommend rolling back to an earlier driver version.

Here’s how to do that:

1. Open Device Manager → expand Display Adapters → right‑click on your NVIDIA GPU → Properties → Driver → Roll Back Driver.
2. If the “Roll Back Driver” option is unavailable, we suggest you contact Stormforce support who can provide you with the correct driver for your laptop.
3. If the “Roll Back Driver” option is successful then you can install the Nvidia app and update as described below.

If you have not yet updated

Your driver and want to do so we recommend that you do this via the Nvidia app. This seems to be the most reliable option to ensure a stable update. https://www.nvidia.com/en-eu/software/nvidia-app/
